Getting Started on The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
Mullumbimby High School is an Official Award Centre for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, with-in school Award Leaders who will mentor students step by step to achieve their award both in extra-curricular and curricular activities.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from students through Year 9 and up to participate in The Duke of Ed Bronze Award through 2023 and beyond.
The Duke of Ed is a global youth development program, empowering young Australians aged 14-24 to explore their full potential.
All participants of the award learn a new skill, improve their physical wellbeing, volunteer in the community and experience a team adventure in a new environment.
Each participant’s award is tailored to match their individual interests, passions and ambitions as they complete the three core Sections of Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation and Skills.
The Bronze Award concludes for all participants with a four day Adventurous Journey, a combined prep and qualifying journey.
