School camps and excursions at Mullumbimby High School occur as part of the school curriculum and is a very important part of the transition from primary to high school. The year 8 camp is a focal point for learning, it forms part of a sequential program designed to enhance the school’s curriculum and provide students with experiences and activities relevant to their academic and personal development.
At Mullumbimby High School, we believe that school camps offer a unique learning opportunity for all students. Students can experience a wide range of activities that cannot be practically provided within a normal school setting. School camps also offer the opportunity for students to interact with their teachers and peers in a setting vastly different from the classroom.
